How to use Dada Mail > Your Password

Each list has an admin password in addition to the root password. This allows the Dada Mail owner to give individual ownership to each list without unprotecting the whole Dada Mail system. The Dada Mail owner, using the root password, can set which options are available to and which are hidden from an individual list's owner.

To change the root password, you need to contact Tech Support.

The Dada Mail owner, who has the root password, can set up and change each individual list's password, to give to the List Owner. This protects other lists from being accessed by separate list owners. You can also limit which of the menu items the List Owner can access.

Always take the same precautions you would do for any important password that you use online: Make the password hard to guess, mixed upper and lower case, a number here and there, and at least 8 characters long. No dictionary words, backwards words, proper nouns, or foreign Words. No personal information embedded in the password.
